Gwendolyn Landquist is a Montana-born, multidisciplinary artist who explores notions of subjectivity and the human condition by incorporating symbolism and organic subject matter into her surrealist creations.
Inspired by mythological themes, fables, written works, and the spoken word - Gwendolyn’s practice aims to translate concepts of morality and the highs and lows of the human struggle into dream-like visuals that are relatable and inspiring to the viewer. Her ethereal scenes are comprised of unexpected assemblages of flora and fauna, objects, and the human form.
